Wales Zero, amber energy?s campaign to drive down the cost of energy for welsh businesses, has launched with Newport BID Newport Now.

The partnership aims:

  • To bring together Newport BID members in buying energy as a group
  • To support BID members in understanding their energy use and costs
  • To give back to the BID so it can grow and support it?s members

Newport Now went live on 1st April 2015 and aims to enhance the trading environment in Newport. With a DNA built to proactively provide options to it?s members amber energy offer a relaxed stand-off approach to the BID members to engage. The Wales Zero campaign is open for BID members to join but no canvassing from the team at amber energy is set to take place; BID members are simply invited to get in touch and to be provided with a no-obligation review of there current position. Should they wish to go ahead a transparent fee will be disclosed to the BID member and a proportion will be donated back to the BID.

Founder of amber energy Nick Proctor commented: ?It?s all about keeping things clean & simple for BID members. They range in size but they all have the same problem of multi-tasking and needing best advice, best in class services, but above all good value for money. There will be some BID members who can really take advantage of a transparent fee from the third parties/brokers whom they contract with & we are looking forward to assisting the innovative move by Newport?
