ESOS Compliance

ESOS Compliance – Energy savings opportunity scheme

What is ESOS Compliance

By December 2015, if you are a large organisation (meaning over 250 employees, or employing less than 250 employees but turning over in excess of 50million euro & an annual balance sheet in excess of 43million euro), you will have to carry out an ESOS compliance assessment (energy audit) covering 90% of your energy consumption.

Do I have to comply with ESOS?

ESOS Compliance means running an audit across over 90% of their energy consumption every 4 years. But don’t worry, we can help with that.

Answer these 3 questions to determine whether you need ESOS compliance.

  • 1

Did you have more than 250 FTE (full time employees) as of 31st December 2014?

  • 2

Do you have a turnover over as of £37M on 31st december 2014?

  • 3

You are yet to implement ISO50001?

If you answered positively (yes or correct) to any of the above.
